Upgraded AdWords sitelinks support available in DoubleClick Search

Thursday, September 19, 2013 |

Since announcing our AdWords enhanced campaign support in DoubleClick Search a few months ago, we've introduced a variety of new tools to take advantage of multi-device opportunities, including reporting by device type. To continue the momentum, today we’re introducing upgraded AdWords sitelinks support -- a solution to help you better connect with consumers, with more relevant ads, wherever they’re browsing.
With support for upgraded AdWords sitelinks in DoubleClick Search, we want to make it easy for you to reach customers with deeper information about your site or product. Upgraded sitelinks integrate with enhanced campaigns and appear in your ads just like non-upgraded sitelinks, but they’re easier to manage and provide more detailed reporting. With upgraded sitelinks support in DoubleClick Search, use a familiar, intuitive workflow to better connect to your audiences:
  • Create or edit sitelinks in bulk. Manage your upgraded sitelinks directly in the DoubleClick Search UI, or via upload. You can choose multiple sitelinks you want to add to a campaign, instead of previously having to add the group of sitelinks in a sitelink extension. You can also remove multiple sitelinks at once. If you’re editing existing upgraded sitelinks in DoubleClick Search, historical stats will remain with the existing sitelink.
  • Easily share sitelinks across campaigns. Instead of managing a group of sitelinks in a sitelinks extension, each sitelink is managed individually. This allows more flexibility in sharing sitelinks across campaigns and also provides detailed, segmented reporting by default.
  • Show your sitelinks at the right place, at the right time. You can choose whether a sitelink is mobile preferred, to target mobile users with different text and URL. You can also custom-define start and end dates to specify the dates your sitelinks are eligible to show.
In addition, you can continue to report on performance and conversion stats for sitelinks using DoubleClick’s tracking pixel, Floodlight. To learn more about upgraded sitelinks, please visit our Help Center article or reach out to our support team at ds-support@google.com.
