On January 26, DoubleClick Search V3 (DS3) added a URL parameter that will allow the engine to set the landing page URL. This is great when you’re using advanced features like Dynamic Search Ads on Google AdWords. When a user clicks an ad, DS3 will redirect him/her to the destination URL parameter that’s determined by the engine, instead of the keyword’s landing page URL. Learn more about adding the ds_dest_url parameter.
We also made an improvement to dynamic URL parameters: you can now add dynamic URL parameters directly in the DS3 UI (previously only available via upload). From a Keywords page, add URL parameters as a selectable column. In the table, you can then click a cell in the URL parameters column and add the parameters in-line.
