On August 3, we announced that DoubleClick Search V3 (DS3) now offers support for Yahoo Search Marketing, allowing many of our customers in Asia and Europe to upgrade to DS3. Today, we’re excited to announce expanded Yahoo! support: you can use two-way sync and create bid strategies for Yahoo Search Marketing accounts!
Two-way sync
As customers with Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter accounts already know, two-way sync allows you to pull changes made directly on the search engine account into your DS3 account. Previously, several steps were required to import those changes into DS3. Syncing is also a great way to import a new account from Yahoo! Search Marketing into DS3. Learn more about the power of two-way sync in the Help Center.
Bid strategies
Bid strategies provide an automated system to manage your keywords’ bids. They reduce the complexity of keyword bidding based on a set of rules you provide. You can choose from an ROI strategy that targets a specific cost per action (CPA) or effective revenue share (ERS), a position strategy that allows you to keep a set of keywords in a range of positions, or a Floodlight tag bidding strategy that optimizes your keyword bids based on the type of conversion. Visit the Help Center to learn more about these bid strategies.
With Yahoo! support for two-way sync and bid strategies, most customers should now be able to upgrade to DS3. Visit the Help Center to learn more about upgrading, and contact your TAM or email us at ds-support@google.com with any questions.
